Information for Faculty

The Faculty Senate represents, leads and serves the whole of the UNLV Faculty. All faculty -- academic as well as (non-executive) administrative -- in all units elect representatives to the Senate.

Any and all matters of concern to faculty fall under the Senate's purview, from curricular and academic matters, to personnel policies, to budgetary issues.

The Senate is for the faculty more than just fifty or so elected members who meet once per month, and more than the several hundred faculty who meet regularly in the Senate's committees.  The Senate is a venue for setting the campus' agenda and for leading campus-wide discussions.
